Several unidentified armed insurgents launched a coordinated assault earlier today on the headquarters of the State Committee for Anthropomorphic Regulation (SCAR) in the Pink Territory, taking personnel inside the building hostage.
Military units, including the Pink 12th Infantry and the Scarlet 44th Grenadiers, were dispatched to the scene shortly after the attack began. Upon arrival, troops came under sustained gunfire from multiple floors of the building, prompting them to establish a perimeter and prepare for a potential assault to recover the hostages.
The situation developed into a tense standoff lasting over an hour. At approximately 3:00 PM—roughly one hour and twelve minutes after initial contact—an explosion originating from the building’s eastern side caused a catastrophic structural collapse.
All individuals inside the building were killed in the blast. Recovery efforts indicate that the majority of bodies were located near the suspected point of detonation, leading investigators to believe the explosion may have been deliberate.
Casualties include 26 SCAR officers and 2 civilians. Authorities also reported the recovery of 9 deceased insurgents at the scene.
Among responding forces, one soldier from the 12th Infantry sustained a gunshot wound, while another was injured by debris resulting from the explosion.
Officials have not yet identified the group responsible for the attack. An investigation is ongoing.
