The United States President was Assassinated

The POTUS was Assassinated during an memorial ceremony today at the GSFG Headquarters in Diesdorf, during what was supposed to be a memorial for fallen soldiers during the Great Patriotic War

There are no known suspects at this time, and many are praying and hoping for justice after witnessing this bloody and heinous event in person. The POTUS was confirmed dead today, at 11:43 AM CDT.  The United States 'EUCOM' claims this is an attack on diplomatic relations and principles of international stability, order, and peace.

The EUCOM also made a statement announcing that this may have been caused by The DDR themselves, and is currently investigating.

No other high ranking officials were harmed during this event.

Later today, The Chairman of State Council will meet with the National Defense Council.

The DDR has apologized and made a statement that President Voxalis was unjustly and barbarically killed.

In result of these events, The Nationale Volksarmee and Grenztruppen Military have ordered a state of full readiness to 'secure the republic in case of attacks against the sovereignty of the people'

Also mentioned by EUCOM is that the "Vice President of the United States will be delivering an official statement shortly to address the nation and international community regarding this incident"
